Bootsy
Greetings - I purchased the px-5s last week and am really enjoying "breaking it in". I forgot how much work can go into adjusting to a new keyboard! I know I'll have lots more questions but I'm trying to get things ready for a gig on Saturday so any help will be appreciated. I've d/l installed Mike Martin's updated stage settings. The problem I'm having is that the damper pedal doesn;t sustain with some organ sounds. Is there a way to fix this? In addition, this happens with some clavs too - I know that the pedal operates as a wah pedal but wasn't sure if when using two pedals, one can be the wah and one can be the sustain. Thanks for any help.
Display Name
Hi Boots and welcome to the Casio Forums. If you want Pedal 1 to function as sustain you'll need to not only change the pedal assignment to CC64 but you need to make two other changes. - The minimum, maximum range should be reset to min0/max127 and the pedal needs to be set to Momentary (rather than a toggle on, toggle off). Please join our Facebook Group (link in my sig) - this question just came up the other day!Attached please find a pack of sustaining organs! dlm
Bootsy...Welcome to the forum! The sequence you need to follow is:Edit > stage setting > common edit > pedal 1 (or 2) > pedal target > CC64 Hold > min/max value...000/127. Be sure to change the pedal to "momentary" instead of "toggle" , & you should be good to go!!!
