Peter34
I already own a px780 privia. Cabinet version of the px350. I really enjoy playing it but i always had a keyboard when i was younger. Now i consider buying an extra keyboard for fun. Most likely a wk7600 or ctk6200/7200. But does it make sense to do so? Are the styles better in the arranger keyboards compared to the privia line? Display Name
Hi Peter. Just seeing this.. The sounds and beats will be very similar but there other points to consider. The WK is more of a workstation than arranger so you would be able to do more complete songs than your could with the Privia. And obliviously the portability factor is there with the WK and even more with the CTK so you can make music away from the piano. I like to take my XW-G1 outside on nice days while I keep an eye on my son playing in the yard or across the street with his friend. Even take it on the couch on my lap.. I found myself playing a lot more when I got a the XW in addition to my PX-5S. Hope this helps. I suggest getting to a music store if you can or doing some YouTubing so you can see the finer points of each board you are interested in. Peter34
Tnx Scott, I already had a feeling this might be the case since the sounds and styles on the Privia are good enough. The portability is something to consider. I was looking at the Casio CTK line but also the Yammie NP11 (no styles though). But your XW made me think.. this is a whole different instrument and might be of added value becoming an alround keyboard player. Somthing to think about
