Jokeyman123
This is one of the most confusing functions in the PX350 IMO. You use the same buttons for selecting and storing the "bank" and "area"where you wish to store the registration. There are only 4 areas but 24 "banks". If you do not select each in the exact order specified in the manual, it isn't going to store it and there is no "confirmation" to let you know whether it worked or not. Another confusion I still don't understand-the manual states only certain auto-accompaniment features are saved in areas 1-4 but doesn' t explain what features aren't stored. Very confusing to me because as far as I can see, almost everythng should be saved in a registration. And sometimes the buttons on the PX panel do not respond the first time, I sometimes have to press the same button twice. I think this might be due to a delay in whatever computer is runnig the PX. Let me know how you do with this. Thanks for posting.
pauldingsdale
Thank you for your reply. I have tried to create a registration again without success. The PX350 is a fantastic Piano although I would like to play it chord / Keyboard style. The internal preset styles are very good although when starting them there is a 'fixed' chord progression included. The manual says play the melody line along with them. Whilst it is obvious with some of the presets what the song is, there isn't a songbook built in or a hard copy. I would be happy to use the presets and then try to save them as a registration, however I am unable to turn off the chord progression ! Im finding all this very frustrating.
