mdhunter
I recently purchased a used px-5s. The unit has been well taken care of, but the previous owner scrambled and evidently deleted many of the sounds. How do I get the unit back to near factory new condition as far as the sounds go? What should I download and what is the simplest way to do it? Thanks for helping this newbie.
Solution Brad Saucier Posted March 13, 2015 Solution Share Posted March 13, 2015 Welcome to the forums and congrats on your PX-5s. To get it back to out of the box condition...press the system setting button>go to initialize> select initialize all. That restores everything. To get an updated set of factory stage settings....load this ALL FILE. Instructions are on the download.http://www.casiomusicforums.com/index.php?/files/file/724-px-5s-updated-all-file/ To browse all available sounds/files for the PX-5s...choose from either Community or Casio official and choose the PX-5s subcategory. http://www.casiomusicforums.com/index.php?/files/ To join the VERY active Casio PX-5s users facebook group....https://www.facebook.com/groups/Casio.Px5s/For a one stop site for all PX-5s self help resources and related software....http://sc3900.wix.com/px-5s
