Hi Status and welcome to the Casio Forums. Congrats on your new workstation.

I don't own that model, but if you look on pages E-36 to E-43 of the manual  ( http://support.casio.com/pdf/008/Web_CTK7200_WK7600E1A.pdf ) you will find the mixer section directions. It lists the different parts and how to adjust the levels.    It looks like when the mixer screen is activated you can use the sliders to adjust the volumes of the various parts.   Start there and play around (remember you can't break anything!  :)  )

If you are still stuck, please let us know - Hopefully another user with the WK-7600 will chime in some more detailed instructions.

-Scott

To adjust the overall Accompaniment Volume of the CTK-7000/7200 or WK-7500/7600:

Page 133 of the manual starts you out on the very last display page you need to do this,

but it does not tell you how to get to that page to begin with.  So:

Press the FUNCTION button to bring up Page-1 of the -Function- menu.

Press the RIGHT ARROW ( > ) button to go to Page-2 of the -Function- menu.

Use the UP/DOWN ARROW buttons to select the first item on the list ( Volume ). (It will probably already be selected.)

Press the ENTER button once to go to the next display page.

Use the UP/DOWN ARROW buttons to select the first item on this list ( AccompVol ). (It will probably already be selected.)

Use the DATA WHEEL or the + / - buttons to set the desired level.

Press the EXIT button twice to return to the home display screen.

Use the MIXER features as explained above by Scott to adjust the levels of individual parts of the accompaniment (Drums, Bass, etc).

See Pages 31 and 32 of the manual for selecting the various types of Reverb and Chorus and for turning them on and off.

When you are on the "type" selection field, keep turning the DATA WHEEL counter-clockwise until "OFF" appears in the "type" field.

There are no discrete panel buttons for turning reverb and chorus on and off as there are on some keyboards.  If you need a means

of quick "on/off" as your are playing, set up the features you need and save them to Registrations and use those as your "switch".

Notice the labels down the right hand side of the display.  A blue indicator next to a label indicates that that feature is ON.

To adjust the accompaniment volume, just put your manual aside for now, and follow this step-by-step procedure.  It has everything that you need in order to do this.  After each button press, take some time to study the display screen to determine what it is telling you and to keep track of where you are in the procedure.  Once you get all the way through this the first time, it will become a lot easier after that:

Disregard what I posted about reverb and chorus as I copied that over in error from an earlier thread on this topic.  Perhaps you should also ignore our comments about the mixer for now, until you become a little more accustomed to the keyboard,  The steps I have posted above will help you adjust the accompaniment volume, which was your original question.

We all find the Casio manuals more difficult than they should be, so good luck, relax, and enjoy !

You'd certainly think that by now CASIO would get the message to improve their manuals.    Or give us an adjunct that has bullet point step-by-step for TASKS, or specific operations rather than just describing each function and expecting the user to put them together in the right order.  I get so frustrated it's become a barrier to using the instrument for anything other than pre-set defaults. :-(
