Moe
I have a Casio 110 which has been working fine for years however now I have no sound. The drums and demo play fine but when I play the keys ...nothing. Is there a factory reset? Thanks

Moe
LOCAL - Is that a function command? ....Also can this problem just pop up or does some button pressing have to take place and someone maybe turned something off?
Display Name
Local is a command used to turn off the internal sounds so when you play the keyboard it will transmit via MIDI but no sounds will be made (from the keyboard). Yes you would have had to do this on purpose which it doesn't sound like you did. If you haven't already done this try: Turn off the PX-110. Unplug it from the wall for a few minutes, plug it back in and turn it on. Let me know if that does it.
Moe
Yeah sadly still nothing however only one white key in the center or the board plays.
Brad Saucier
Uh oh. Unfortunately, that sounds like a mechanical issue to me.
Display Name
Depending on what needs to be serviced, you may want to take a serious look at getting a new PX-150. The keyboard action and sound have been greatly improved and you will get a 3 year warranty (1 year + 2 extra when you register online at Casio.com). Joe Muscara
(I always seem to be asking this) Do you have another keyboard and MIDI cable you can plug into it? The PX 110 has MIDI In/Out, and using another MIDI keyboard you can test a) whether you can play the PX via the other keyboard, and whether you can play the other keyboard via the PX. This would tell us if the problem is the PX's keyboard mechanism or connection, or the internal circuits.
