nate39
Hi, just got the px-350 and noticed from the start a glaring problem. It always resets to factory defaults after you turn it off. This is replacing an acoustic piano for my wife who just wants to sit down and play and not have to go through all the settings to make it sound like what she likes. I see it has a back up setting but after turning that on, it still resets itself. Am I missing something or does my piano have a defect? From what I read the registrations might be an option also but this is obviously a complicated process and I haven't tackled it yet. Any help will be appreciated. To be honest, if it had been clear that this thing reset itself every time it would have been a deal breaker for me. Thanks
Brad Saucier
Hello and welcome to the forums. Setting backup should do it as described in the manual. http://support.casio.com/storage/en/manual/pdf/EN/008/PX350M_EN.pdf#page=6 The manual also notes some exceptions for this backup setting. http://support.casio.com/storage/en/manual/pdf/EN/008/PX350M_EN.pdf#page=48 To summarize.... Press function>other parameters group>setting backup>ON.

Brad Saucier
Describe the settings you are making and what happens when powering off. In other words... what is not being saved?
nate39
We might change the type of piano and the touch response for instance. I have yet to make a change in anything and it stick.
