Display Name Posted June 16, 2015 Share Posted June 16, 2015 We had a user take apart their PX-5S for painting and discovered that there is the slots for the music holder there, but some clips are inserted that looked tough to deal with to get out. "FYI: The slot for the Casio music stand, like you can get for the PX350 is under the blue strip on the PX-5S. However, that strip is glued down with some seriously hardcore foam tape and adhesive. I had to remove my strip when I painted mine. X-Acto knife, heat gun, and patience. Then you need some new thin foam tape to glue it back on. WARNING: if you try this I take no responsibility. Display Name Posted June 16, 2015 Share Posted June 16, 2015 Yup -- parts #15 & 16 are the clips that are in the slots. I guess they are in there pretty good. Honesty, I would just find a nice lightweight music stand instead of hacking up a nice PX-5S. I find stand-alone stands to be more stable and versatile anyway.
