What are the differences between these AiR, PCM, and HPSS sound engines? Are they different names for the same thing? I know marketing types can get pretty carried away in making something sound new, and different. Thank you...

AiR is a name for a group of features that helps with sound realism: http://www.casio-europe.com/euro/emi/airspecial/air/

PCM is "pulse code modulation" and is a generic term for saying the sounds are generated by using samples (ROMpler)

HPSS is Hybrid Processing Sound Source -- it means the XW synths have multiple ways of making sounds (solo synth, drawbar organ, hexlayer, PCM, samples)
