Sustain pedal reversed sometimes?

Sometimes, when I turn on my Privia PX-5s, I will be playing around while it loads up, and when it finally does, the sustain pedal, instead of "sustaining", actually dampens, and without pressing any pedals, the keys are all automatically sustained? Is there any reason for this, could this be a short, or an issue with my keyboard. Usually if I turn it off and back on again it resets to normal with the keys working fine, and pressing the sustain pedal elongating the notes. Also, I have two pedals plugged in, one for the sustain and the other for the damper, not sure if this helps. Thanks you!

This sort of thing happened to me once (i.e., reversed the function of the sustain pedal). I figured I might have inadvertently pressed the pedal while booting up, so I unplugged the pedal, connected it again and rebooted. It's never happened since.
