CDP-130 update request: turning off the signal tone

Recommended Posts

Dear Casio team,

it would be very nice if one could turn off the signal tone, especially when jamming with others and for small live performances. With the CDP-130 it's got even worse compared to the CDP-120 where you could at least select and layer most of the sounds without the signal tone. I can't imagine this was the idea.

Plus, it would be great if you found a way to hide the loops a bit more, especially in the acoustic piano samples and reduce the percussion of the Jazz Organ. Currently this sound is completely useless.

I know the CDP is very low end entry level but if you offer extra sounds they should at least be accessible without annoying "book!" and not made useless on purpose as it seems to be the case for the Jazz Organ.

Thank you very much.

Oh I understand -- when you are in a live performance and want to layer a sound or something it makes a little sound effect to let you know "it took", right?   If that's the case, I wouldn't expect an update for the CDP-130, but it is a good suggestion for future models. Casio definitely listens to suggestions for future models, as evidenced in the new digital pianos unveiled at Summer NAMM.
