Janet Hudgins Posted July 15, 2015 Share Posted July 15, 2015 The middle register doesn't sound as good as the rest of the piano or as good as I thought it sounded in the store. But, there doesn't seem to be much change when I use the functions to change to Hall or Grand piano. I wonder if there is a trick I don't know about that would give me better quality. Any suggestions? As well, the pedal seems to be weak compared to an acoustic. It came with it but perhaps there is a better one? Display Name Posted July 15, 2015 Share Posted July 15, 2015 Hi Janet and welcome to the Casio forums. The sound can be affected a lot just by the room -- the music store maybe had better acoustics? Anyway, try moving the location of the instrument and see if that improves the sound. Other options are using external speakers or headphones. The Hall and other adjustments may be too subtle to hear on the built-in speakers.As far as the sustain pedal -- I don't know what model/brand came with your CDP, but the Casio SP-20 is one of the best pedals out there.
