Here's my modded Px-5

Recommended Posts

hello everyone,

this is my first post, so here's my little presentation:

my name is Marco, i live in Italy (sorry for my mistakes in english/american), I'm 38, I am a jazz pianist and organist; I usually play a Yamaha CP-1, but I purchased a Px5 some months ago because I needed some very lighter stuff to carry at rehearsals and minor gigs. I use to play px5 as a master to command Galaxy Vintage D on laptop.

For some reasons, I wanted to change Px5 color. Instead of painting, I purchased two vinyls for car wrapping: a carbon-type and a brushed titanium-type. Here's the result. Note: work is still in progress, there are little imperfections (and bigger ones, too...) that I'd like to make disappear.

Thanks for viewing!

I'm really glad you appreciated!

@ Choppin: thanks!

@ Hugh: grazie!

dama: the way I left white in the sliders... was not the way I supposed to do; I wanted to cover with titanium vinyl also internal and lower part of sliders. But if I did so, sliders wouldn't move any more  :( ... That's why I left them "naked".

Bravo. I'm sending you my PX5S AND my stage clothes. You know what to do!

ok, send me them! But I must be honest: unless on stage you use plastic and/or metal clothes, results could not satisfy you...

Vinyl doesn't stitch so well on fabric

Great job, Marco ... very professional (and cool) looking.

many thanks!  :)
