Yes.  A normal sustain pedal can be plugged into the pedal jacks and assigned to do this.

Go to the zone you want.

Press edit>tone>dsp>choose delay...exit out

Press edit>stage setting>common edit>choose your pedal number>target 1>choose wet level from the list.  This will be the delay wet level.  Exit out

Press edit>stage setting>zone edit>controller edit>choose your pedal number>enable>ON.   Repeat this for other zones except pedal enable needs to be off for those.

Correct.  2 pedals.  You could also do the same with sliders or knobs.  You could do this with all 4 zones.

Another way to do it is this....  I should have mentioned this first.  The above method uses the DSP insert effects.  You could also get delay with the system effects by adjusting delay send for each zone.  You could set up a slider, knob or pedal for that.

For this, you can remove the delay insert dsp effect I mentioned before.  Choose the zone, press the DSP button and set it to "through".

Next, Edit>stage setting>common edit>choose a slider,knob,pedal>target 1>CC94 Delay.

Now repeat the last step from above to enable the proper controllers per zone.
