Issues with Sustain Pedal wk-3000

Take an ohmmeter and measure the resistance across the two terminals of the plug with the pedal switched on and off.

If it reads zero ohms depressed and infinity released then the pedal is functioning fine and the problem is with your keyboard.

Any other readings and the pedal is defective.

Hi Nat and welcome to the Casio forums. The pedal jack on the WK-3000 is assignable to many functions other than sustain - I suspect this is the issue. You need to go into the systems menu and make the pedal is assigned to "SUS".

For your convenience, I have linked to the manual. Page E-80 is where you want to start - the pedal function assign procedure is on P-83. http://support.casio.com/storage/en/manual/pdf/EN/008/WK3000_3100_3500_EN.pdf

Please let me know if this works for you.

Good luck and have fun with your keyboard!
