Null
If your friend puts it up on craigslist under the category "Free Stuff" I guarantee it will be gone within 24 hours. The vultures are always circling there and I just gave away an old CRT TV there last week. I'd had three responses to my ad within 2-1/2 hours and it was picked up the following day. Null
Craigslist is the BEST place to pick up used gear locally. Looking on my local craigslist this week I see a few Boss DR880 drum machines going for $250 each. I'm sorely tempted to pick one up. Anyway, to me at least, what makes craigslist superior to ebay is the fact that you get to test the merchandise before you buy as well as $Zero shipping costs. Craigslist is the gearhead musician's best friend Gary
