mrtim
Hey guys, first post here. I'm the proud owner of a new PX-360 and just learning to play the piano! I watched Mike Martin do a YouTube demo a few years ago, on what I remember being a PX-130 maybe... He was going through the different tones andlanded on a "No Quarter" tone and even played a couple seconds of it, to me, it sounded really good.Does anyone know which patch that was/is ? Here's a link to a guy in a Zep cover band who says his PX-3 has the tone "It even has the dead-on phased stereo electric piano for "No Quarter" right out of the box." http://www.johnpauljoel.com/keys.html I've went through the Epiano tones but nothing really jumped out at me, but again I'm new to Piano so... Anyone? Many thanks!
Brad Saucier
Have you tried Phaser E. Piano 2?
mrtim
Have you tried Phaser E. Piano 2? I have, it didn't seem the same as what I heard but I could be mistaken.
Brad Saucier
Hmmm. Might be different on the 360. The PX-5s version is perfect.

Brad Saucier
A thought.....The DSP insert effect "phaser" is responsible for the sound. The 360 has 1 DSP insert available. Make sure you are using only the upper 1 tone so the DSP can work.

My mistake, it wasn't Mike Martin doing the demo and it wasn't a PX-130, it was a PX-3, see 3:30 into this video: https://youtu.be/z1xr5WrWiVo That tone doesn't seem to exist on the PX-360. I'll have to find it as a MainStage patch I recon.
