carmignuzzo
I recently purchased a Celviano AP-650. I have just noticed that when I play certain sounds (like GM Tinklebel, no 113 on GM tones), the chord accompaniment is off by one full note. If a play a C chord with my left hand, the actual chord played is a G. This does not happen with all sounds.I have reset the piano to its factory settings twice and the problem still exists.Would appreciate some help on this matter.Thank you
Jokeyman123
This sounds like could be a malfunction of the internal software. I do not own this particular Casio but is there a master tuning or transpose function? It is possible the main keyboard sound is being transposed while the accompaniment is not. Just a guess. I'll look over the online manual and see if I can help further if you can't solve this.
carmignuzzo
Jokeyman123, Thank you for your response. As previously mentioned, this does not occur for all tones, only certain ones. I assume that a general transposition issue would occur for all tones. To be more specific on the problem, if I play a C chord with the left hand with accompaniment, the corresponding chord with the right hand is G. If I remove the accompaniment, the C chord with the left hand matches the C chord with the right hand. I would really appreciate any help on this, otherwise, I will be forced to return the unit. Thank you.
Display Name
Could this have to do with the chord setting? Refer to page E-16 of the manual and check to make sure your Casio is set properly. http://support.casio.com/storage/en/manual/pdf/EN/008/AP650_EN.pdf
