Carter
Is it correct you can bounce and combine recorded MIDI tracks on the 7600? Does the audio record record these song sequences? If all I record at same time in song, are middle C for each of 16 song sequencer tracks, then record using audio record and save to sd card....what then do I have? A layer of 16 tones or 34 if using layered user tones. Is this possibility/functionality correct?Like ThisBradMZToday, 05:08 AMThis needs to be a new topic. To answer: Yes, the WK-7600 can "merge" two tracks into one. The audio records the 16 tracks of the song sequencer + the system track as a mix down into one. Like ThisCarterToday, 05:21 AMIf correct, 32 actual tones can be layered by using the song sequencer/audio record. The only next step would be to upload this new tone from your SD card and load it into a sample player to play polyphonically. Right?Like ThisCarterToday, 05:26 AMDoes it have to be a stereo audio recording, no possibility for mono .wav files? Is the audio file an actual.wav file? Carter
I guess this topic really should have been titled, "using audio record to make layered tones". I would really like to hear folks' input on this including external devices being sampled this way.
