Tweaking drum/rhythm voices in Privia PX-575R

Hi everyone!  I pray you're enjoying the Christmas weekend.

I had a drummer I work with at church review a track I created (which I'll post later), and he said the drums sounded tinny and fake.  Is there a way to make the drum or rhythm sounds in Privia stage pianos more realistic, and are there more sound patches around besides those on the Casio Music Site for my 575-R?

Thanks in advance for the help and advice!

There isn't much you can do to improve or edit the stock drumkits in the PX575 except for effects settings such as chorus to fatten the sounds, reverb etc. But I have a solution you may want to try-you will need the Casio IDES software and a computer connected to the PX575 thorough the USB midi connection. I've done this and it works but you will have to study the IDES documentation-both can be downloaded from the European Casio website. The PX575 can load and store a complete collection of wav samples in one user created "tone". The IDES software enables you to import this collection in one of the user tone slots. It also allows for creating keyboard zones for each individual sample as well changing the root tone-to change the pitch of your sample played on the keyboard. If you have any drum samples in wav format you can assemble your own kit and store it as one tone, just like the other kits in the PX575. If you know how to record audio and save your recordings of acoustic kits to your computer the PX has enough sample memory to create a pretty nice custom sampled kit or any other wav samples imported with the IDES software. I think you need version 4.0 for the PX575. I've created a simple kit with drum wav samples I found somewhere on the web. And I still had room to make another tone using a variety of other "concrete" sounds such as sound effects, spoken voice samples etc.
