Display Name
There are audio demos of the PX-5S and every other Privia available, so the sound should not be a surprise to anyone.
Brad Saucier
B4 and C5 in particular. It sounds just like a certain Steinway model.
altrie
I love PX-5s. I bought consciously, having listened to many other models EP and PX-5S for a magnificent sound and opportunities has chosen. I am grateful for the help and offers. Specially I don't wait for any updates, but surprises what in PX-5S still is what to improve, but it isn't made more than a year of 3 years of existence of model. I apologize if has offended the remark.
Brad Saucier
I'm going to put this video here temporarily to demonstrate. No other video demonstrates this as well as this one. Steinway Model D.... (Video Link Hidden)
altrie
Thanks for video. I haven't heard an obvious deviation of an hammer voicing of B4 and C5 as it is heard on PX-5S. The sound of a PX-5S is really similar to the original. :-)

However, the sound engine on the PX-5s can alter those samples into many other sounds. Some very different from the original. Here is one you should download and install that is very different from any factory piano. http://www.casiomusicforums.com/index.php?/files/file/567-old-upright/ Also, I'm not sure what you mean by 0-0 pianos. Did you install the alternate order stage settings? Could you please "translate" it for PX-560?
swistak
I have PX-560 and can help, but I don't have PX-5S I have an idea, though. What about opening the tone/stage setting in the data editor and taking one or more screenshots? That would provide all the data necessary to recreate the tone, wouldn't it? The thing is that the data editor doesn't let you open PX-5S files unless you have an actual PX-5S hooked up to your computer.
SimoneCarini
Sorry BradMZ, anyhow I thank you I agree with you swistak, I had the same idea already, did you try it?
swistak
I didn't try. I need someone with PX-5S to team up and provide the data. It would be an interesting exercise - we would see if and how well PX-5S tones translate to PX-560. The devil might be in the details. SimoneCarini
I will try to create an upright for the PX-560, though I still am learning EDIT as for my pianistic experience, I prefer a deeper sound in the middle Beware, that is my taste
Brad Saucier
I am porting my Upright Piano programming from the PX-5S to the MZ-X500. It should be the same for the 560. Select a new user hex layer tone. Press edit>effect>choose early reflection Go to Advanced>layer. Turn on layers 1 and 2. Wave number... GrPiano-2-L for layer 1, GrPiano-2-R for layer 2. Amp... Layer 1 pan -64, Layer 2 pan +63. The rest applies to both layers...... Pitch>coarse tune +3, Fine tune -65, split shift -2. Pitch>envelope...set levels to -24. Times can be ignored. Filter type LPF1, cutoff 55, Velocity sense +53 Filter>envelope...set all levels to 127.
