PS-5X and MOXF6 . Knobs sending Midi but I don´t want this

Hello, and congrats for this great site about Casio.

I just bought this week a PX-5S. I really love it, but I´m having problems to connect it via midi with a MOXF6

I would like to use the sequencer capabilities of the MOXF6 but using the keybed (and sounds) of the PX-5S

I made some midi adjustments in the PX-5S as other forum members suggest, I can play now the sounds of the MOXF6 from the Casio, but my first problem: I would like that the four knobs do not send midi. For example, that Release from Casio´s knob 4 only affects de Casio and not the Casio and the Yamaha together and vice versa.

Is that possible?

I´m really having troubles to get these two machines working properly via Midi

Thanks in advance.

What's happening is with the stage setting you are using those knobs are only assigned to "internal" settings, not MIDI CC. You need to set the targets to the MIDI CC you want to control. Consult this video, but use knobs instead of sliders:

Thanks for answering

I have the knob 4 programmed as CC72 Release. But it also sends the Release to the MOTIXF :(
Is there no way that the Release function only works internally in the Casio?

You will have to dedicate a zone to the PX-5s and one for the MOX.  Using a different slider for each if you want to control both keyboards separately.

Each zone has 3 midi outputs: to internal sound (gen out), midi din out, usb midi out.   Edit>stage setting>zone edit>midi edit>gen out, mid out, usb out.

The controllers (knobs, pedals, sliders and wheels) have disable switches for each zone.  Edit>stage setting>zone edit>controller enable>slider enable>off.
