Tommy_Keys
I am a newbie here. Just got my PX5S a week ago or so and LOVE it. It is so amazing. I already downloaded some new stage settings and am having a blast. I did have a question. Mike Martin posted an ALL file (PX 5S Updated ALL file V2.5), is there a way for users to create these files? I would like to add some new stage settings and save to a ZAL file (like Mike did) on the USB, so I can easily switch from Mike's list to my own quickly just using the USB. I played around with the editor and the way to create a package, but I want to be able to just quickly use the USB to switch back and forth. I do not want to always have to have my computer hooked up to move the package files. Thanks for any help!
Solution Brad Saucier Posted January 14, 2015 Solution Share Posted January 14, 2015 Hi Tommy and welcome to CMF. Yes. You can create and ALL file. It's done on the PX-5s itself. Press and hold the media button. This takes you to the save/write functions where you can choose to save ALL data. It saves the current state of your PX-5s to one file. You will need to set up the stage settings how you want them before ALL SAVE.
Tommy_Keys
Brad ... THANK YOU so much. This keyboard is truly amazing. I just started playing piano for a year or so, teaching myself. I have some friends (musicians) who tried to steer me away from Casio, it's just a toy ... bla, bla, bla. They could not be more wrong. I downloaded some new piano, Nord as well as a lot of other sounds and the keyboard sounds as good or better than my friends $1,600 Yamaha. Plus the data editor is awesome. Casio has done a really great job with everything, support, videos, forum, sounds. This is exactly what I wanted. Ya you can get that with a Nord perhaps for $4k. And the white was such a smart "practical" move. It is ten times easier to read black on white. I hope Casio really continues, breaking into the market. They need to break the image set in the 80s as a "toy". Anyway I am SO thrilled with my purchase. I bought this second hand for $600 with case, stand and peddle. I could not be happier. Thanks for the quick reply. That worked perfect!!!!
