pankajc Posted May 12, 2020 Posted May 12, 2020 Hi, I am a owner of CT-X9000in which I guess is similar to CT-X 5000. My Issue relates to the Casio's DataManager for CT-X. I am running on a MacBook, the application launches but cannot detect the connected keyboard. However, other software like GarageBand detects the keyboard and plays sounds, but the Casio's software does not. The default screen of the DataManager says "Powered by Qt". but I am unable to install the Qt source from the Casio's site (https://support.casio.com/en/support/download.php?cid=008&pid=1797 ). Anybody has any idea how to install the same? Thanks in advance. Regards Pankaj Quote
Brad Saucier Posted May 12, 2020 Posted May 12, 2020 Are you running two applications at once? Data Manager uses the MIDI, so if another MIDI application has tied up the connection, Data Manager can't connect. Quote

I attached the keyboard on Windows 10 system, it automatically downloaded a USB midi driver. Then I launched the Casio Data Manager and I was able to connect to the keyboard. On my Mac, however, it keeps showing <disconnected>. Am I missing a driver or something? Attaching the screenshot images of both instances. Regards Pankaj Quote
pankajc Posted May 13, 2020 Author Posted May 13, 2020 Solved.... Steps followed 1) Disconnected the keyboard 2) Launched the Audio MIDI setup, then Midi studio. 3) Deleted existing configuration for the keyboard 4) Connected the keyboard again. Accepted the auto detected values. Now the manager connects. Regards Pankaj 2 Quote
