Yes, the SP-3 is the metal version found iike in any accoustic piano and the SP-20 is the black squared plastic found in any machines like typewriters Is there any different between those 2 ? However the SP-20 I wouldd imagine it as an Expression pedal for quick short cuts with Effects. Am i right ? Then on Keyboard, i've read the functions and ports, where there are 2 Line-out high Jack, Pedal 1 and Pedal 2 EXPRS. Does Pedal 1 (SP-3) only exclusively for Sustain ''Forte'' and the Pedal 2 EXPRS (SP-20) for shortcuts like registration or song ? Or it doesnt matter which device is used for those 2 ports ? Whats the difference between Pedal 1 and Pedal 2 Exprs, when in keyboard to can set what u really want ? So far i know as well, that when connecting Pedams u need to configurate which function u want : sustain, expression 1 &2, But whats difference between Expression 1 & 2 ? For Pedals, do u use them both or just one ? Just wanted to see the purposes, do i can have an idea in some potential purchasing. Just let me know, thanks Quote

This is not correct. SP-3 is the plastic square pedal. SP-20 is the metal piano style version. Both pedals are a standard switch type on/off pedal. They perform the same function. For your other questions, it depends on the specific keyboard model in question. Expression jacks perform the expression function. Expression is used to control a reduction in volume of a particular tone and a return to the initial set point while performing. Some models have assignable pedals that can also perform other functions, but some do not. Quote

Now its clear - well, i got the CT-X5000 and yes before connecting Pedals u need to Assign it or them from ''Function menu'' but in the guide at page em-29, it shows a table with 3 options of Setting : 1 sustain then 2 Expression Pedals. For the last 2, i dont see the difference doz not very clear for their distinctive function or if theyare both same... Now i assume, maybe to put expression pedal on Pedal 1 Socket and a second Expression Pedal 2 Socket, to have combination of 2 Expression Pedals, if im correct. So lets szy one pedal controls registration and other controls Volume of some'Tone or whatever But in the most'common sense, i d see is, a sustain in Ped 1 and Expression in Ped 2 Exprs , or just onenor the'other, am i right ? Brad Saucier Posted December 2, 2024 Posted December 2, 2024 On the CT-X5000, Expression is only assignable for Pedal 2 and requires a compatible expression pedal to function. The menu allows a selection between pedal types connected (switch type, or expression). Pedal 1 and Pedal 2 are assignable to 4 other functions using a standard switch type sustain pedal (sustain, soft, sostenuto, rhythm/song start/stop). Quote

All clear Ok, the '''classic 3 metal pedale like from GPiano Plus the Start/stop gives those 4 Function. So u can choose between those 4, lets say ''Start/Stop' for Pedal 2. But how about Pedal 1 is it by default a classic ''sustain'' Or U can also assign either'the othern3nfunctions, like Sustain So at the end, u haven2 pedals doingn2'functions. Am i right ? And another noob quesion, ive'seen the 3 Pedal Set'called Casio SP-34. Do u think its compatible ? Tbh, i'dont think'so, coz it's a Single'Pedal that will be assigned. But im not sure. Brad Saucier Posted December 2, 2024 Posted December 2, 2024 Pedal 1 default is sustain. Pedal 1 and pedal 2 can be configured for different functions. SP-34 is not compatible with CT-X. Quote
