ChristofR477
I've been considering the PX-S5000 as a midi controller for some time now. I would place it under my desk but as space is limited, the 5000 with its height of 102 mm (according to the specs) would be ideal (I can go no higer than 120 mm). But to be honest, I would really like to buy the 7000, as there is a chance I might use it as a piano for the living room in the near future and the harmonious mustard with the wooden stand would make it perfect, not to mention the better speaker system and the premium piano sounds. So, I'd prefer getting the 7000 but I have some doubts about the specs : it supposedly has the same height as the 5000 but the 7000 also has a pitch/bend wheel. I'm not sure the height in the spec sheet includes this... same remark about the volume knob on the 5000 : does the height of 102 mm take this into account ? Brad Saucier
Good question. I'll see if we can find someone with answers. I don't know the answer to this one.

Mike Martin
@ChristofR477 The specification is the same in terms of height. I can confirm that all models, PX-S5000, PX-S6000 and PX-S7000 (off the stand) fit on my "keyboard drawer" on my music production desk. Is there a specific desk you're using? ChristofR477
I'm not using a music desk, just a normal office desk from Ikea. I put my keyboard on a K&M Omega stand (now a Korg Liano, and I put some felt under the feet of the Omega stand to be able to slide it under my desk, basically an 'Ikea hack') and the space between the Omega stand (in its lowest position) and the underside of the desk is 120mm. Anything higher than 120 mm won't be able to fit under the desk. Hence my question 😉 Edited September 28 by ChristofR477
