Casio Privia PX-560 split issue

When I have a split on my PX-560 Piano  with upper  tone: Piano and and lower tone:  acoustic bass, how do I get the Acoustic bass not to sustain when I use my sustain pedal?  I do want the sustain on the upper split to sustain the piano tone..

Same goes for an electric piano tone that I dial in vibrato with the mod wheel but the mod wheel has no effect on the bass sound split.  Also my sustain pedal has no effect on the bass split I have on the left hand split.  The bass split in the left hand would not have sustain on it as well.

I'm not seeing anything for a lower controller enable but am seeing an edit for two upper.  I  am having trouble shutting off the sustain pedal controlling the lower bass sound of the split.  I can't seem to find anything concerning setting up a split in the manual.  On the edit page there are two parts 1 and 2 .  I'm having trouble understanding the process of setting up a split with bass with no sustain on the left of the split and piano with sustain in the right half of the keyboard.  Thank you so much for your assistance.

To clarify, this is what you are looking for in the controller menu.

1. Press MENU

2. Press Controller

3. Press pedal edit

You should find the following on page 1 and 2 of the menu....

Upper 1 Enable

Upper 2 Enable

Lower 1 Enable

Lower 2 Enable

Turning those ON or OFF activates or deactivates the pedal for each part.  See page EN-76 of the manual for more details.

God bless you for all your assistance.  I simply cannot find the menu that you are talking about.  I don't see anything for Lower 1 and Lower 2.   only Upper 1 and Upper 2.  I will try and find the menu that you are talking about.  I keep seeing at the very top of the screen labeled as column 1 and column 2.   Please excuse my ignorance concerning this matter.  I am suppose to be looking at the "controller" category of the menu screen right?

Thanks

Jim
