EuroGuybrush
Hey folks!! I'm looking into buying a Privia PX-S7000 (in love with the design), but I have notice that there is only a "mic in", and no stereo audio input. Is there anyway to get a stereo signal into the speakers other than bluetooth? is it possible to use a basic class compliant USB midi/audio interface on the USB A port instead of the bluetooth module? I want to be able to connect an external midi sound module to the Privia for composing and I don't want latency. Thanks in advance!
Brad Saucier
Unfortunately Bluetooth is the only way to send a stereo signal to the internal speakers. Note that MIDI on the PX-S7000 is USB-to-host only. A host is required to connect to other MIDI instruments.
EuroGuybrush
Thanks so much Brad. This completely clarified my question! hopefully my use case becomes a feature for next iteration!
Brad Saucier
I would suggest external monitors. While the internal speakers are good, high quality external monitors will yield even better sound quality both from internal sounds and external.
