badbob Posted October 24, 2024 Posted October 24, 2024 On my cts 100 casio various keys don't work. There seems to be a pattern of faulty keys. I therefore assume its unlikely to be dirty connections on those keys. The attached image shows the faulty keys. Can anyone suggest a fix? Thanks Bob Moore Quote

JohanC Posted October 25, 2024 Posted October 25, 2024 Maybe you could mention the notes of which the keys do not work? I don’t know Casio keyboards, but in general the keys of a keyboard (this also applies to computer typing keyboard) are wired as a matrix, meaning that one broken connection/connector results in several keys going dead. Brad Saucier Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 I'm assuming the black keys with the dots on them are the ones in question. Unfortunately that's not something a misconfigured setting on the keyboard would be responsible for. It's more likely a hardware issue in the circuitry, something a technician would need to look at. badbob Posted October 27, 2024 Author Posted October 27, 2024 Black keys and white keys have dots. I wondered if it could be one of the connectors. Are there any circuit diagrams available? Quote
Brad Saucier Posted October 27, 2024 Posted October 27, 2024 Unfortunately none that I'm aware of. Quote
