Jake From the US Posted November 24 Posted November 24 (edited) Hi all I just purchase the CT=X5000 keyboard and while it's a lot of keyboard for the money it's been very frustration for me to create my own rhythms, The Manual is not clear but some of the videos are, and I was able to get started making the rhythms. Here's my issue. I created a drum pattern and a bass pattern. I want to now use the ride cymbal and the hi hat on the percussion channel so I can raise the volume of those tones. When I now go to the drumkit (standard 1), all of the notes are moved up. The lower "C" which is supposed to be the kick drum is now about 4 notes higher and all of the others follow suit. I checked to see if the transpose was higher but it was on zero. I'm at a loss as to what happened. If anyone out there can figure this out, I'd appreciate it! Solution Mclandy Posted November 25 Solution Posted November 25 Just to clarify, are you saying the notes are shifted (not correct) when you are playing them in an attempt to make an accompaniment recording? If so, are they also shifted if you just select Standard 1 drums as the main Upper 1 voice and play it that way (not in recording mode)? And both Transpose and Octave Shift are set to 0 in the settings? Quote
Jake From the US Posted November 25 Author Posted November 25 Mclandy you are a life saver! I didn't realize that I did have the octave shift set incorrectly! must have pressed something accidently. I set it correctly and everything is back to normal. Thank you!!!! 1 Quote
