Mankeys Posted December 19, 2024 Posted December 19, 2024 Hello friends, Happy Holidays. So what I am trying to do is increase the volume of a USB recording to a flash drive on the Casio Privia Px-860. I find that when I record to a USB the volume is a little low. What I currently do is take the flash drive to my computer and increase the volume of the recording with audacity. However I saw in the manual (page EN-25) that it is possible to increase the volume right from the piano, but I don't understand...it tells me to hold the function button and press some keys. That's the part that I don't understand, which keys? Quote
Brad Saucier Posted December 19, 2024 Posted December 19, 2024 I think they meant that audio volume adjustment is for playback level, rather than recording level. I may be wrong, so try it anyways. The manual refers to a chart which shows the keys to press. It's page EN-29. Quote
Mankeys Posted December 19, 2024 Author Posted December 19, 2024 I saw the diagram but I can't figure out which keys they are referring to. All I know is they are referring to some keys on the right of the piano, but it doesn't specify which one. Quote
Brad Saucier Posted December 19, 2024 Posted December 19, 2024 The manual points to the highest F and F# keys on the piano. F is to decrease, F# to increase volume. Press both simultaneously to reset defaults. Quote
