anxion Posted January 1 Posted January 1 hi all, I recently purchased the AP-550 and have been exploring its features. I’m particularly interested in getting the best settings for the Grand Piano sound. Do you have any recommendations for optimizing it? also, I noticed that when I save my settings through the application and send them to the piano, the settings seem to reset after I switch the instrument off and back on. How can I ensure that my custom settings are saved permanently and remain active after turning the piano on again? Thank you for your assistance! Quote
Brad Saucier Posted January 1 Posted January 1 Welcome to the forums! Whenever the app is used to make changes to piano settings, the app itself can store these changes. You'll find a save button near the top of the main screen in the app. Next time you want to load these settings, press the sync button in the app. More details about it are in the app manual here. Whenever changes are made on the piano itself, a function called auto resume can store most settings for powering off. Turn on auto resume to save settings. Hold function and press Ab7 to toggle this setting on/off. More details about enabling auto resume is in the user manul on page EN-121. I'm not sure if auto resume can store changes made by the app. If it works, let us know. Hopefully this helps. Quote
