Hello.  I have 2 q's re my PX-S6000:

1.  Is there a way to change the name of a setting saved to a registration bank?  For example, I've saved a layered Grand Piano/Warm Pad to a registration bank as F1, and the name just shows up as Warm Pad, the name of one of the tones.  I'd like to change it to Piano Pad, just for that saved setting.  I'm saving multiple settings to registration banks and would like to be able to give them descriptive names that remind me what they are.

2.  Is there a way to call up a DPS Effect Module directly rather than going to a DSP preset and tweaking it?  For example, is there a way, after calling up the Privia Grand, to then just enable the Delay Effect module to try to get an echo, rather than go to some preset that has the delay effect in it?

Hope these q's are clear.  Love the piano/keyboard sounds and the action on this thing, but the menus/user interface are sometimes frustrating.

Hi there, welcome to the forums.  Let's see.. I hope this helps.

1.  Registration banks can be named.  It happens during the registration save process.  You'll see a button labeled F4 "BNAME" on the registration setting screen.  Touch this to rename the bank.  Unfortunately it's not possible to name each of the 4 individual registrations within a bank.

2.  There's a couple of options here.  You can use the DSP edit menus to configure a module the way you like, and once it's setup with a delay like you prefer, you can store that as a registration.  There is also an F-button set called "effects" with a DSP on/off button.  This can used to toggle the DSP effect on/off.  Another option is to assign DSP Parameter 1 and 2 to the 2 knobs.  The module parameters assigned to the 2 knobs is automatic.  One of them may be what you're looking for and can be used live.  Of course as always, you can save this as a registration.

Thank you Brad.  On no. 1, I was asking about naming the individual registrations.  Darn. Well I hope someone will consider that for a firmware update if there ever is one (assuming it's actually programmable).

On no. 2,  the only way I understand to get to the DSP edit menus is to go to F-button set 10 and long press F4 to get to those menus.  Then I get a list of presets that I can call up and adjust.  But those are all preset.  I'm trying to understand if there's a way just to get to a menu of the modules, call up the one you want, and tweak it.

The way the system works is based on preset DSP effects chains.  You'll always need to start with a preset DSP effect which contains the modules you would like to use.  You can disable unwanted modules in a preset chain if you only want a single module.  You'll see the modules listed below each preset DSP as you scroll through them.  Going to each individual module in a preset will pull up the module bypass setting and other module parameters.
