Fancellu Posted February 28 Posted February 28 (edited) Didn't do this before. Keybed has always been a tad noisy, but now some keys have developed a very pronounced click/squeek Anyone else have this or heard this before? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZCurwqjGOFM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZCurwqjGOFM Edited February 28 by Fancellu Quote
Brad Saucier Posted March 1 Posted March 1 If an individual key is noticeably noisier, it may be better to contact your original music dealer or Casio support in your region for assistance. They may be able to guide you with assistance further than we can on the forums. Quote
Fancellu Posted March 1 Author Posted March 1 Yes, I wasn't looking for support on this issue. Just if others had heard/seen similar with their Privia, if it is a known issue etc Quote
Fancellu Posted March 21 Author Posted March 21 I sent it off to Casio, they replaced the keybed unit. It is so much better now. No squeaks. Much less rattle too. Even when brand new it wasn't this solid. I suspect previous keybed was either iffy or simply an early build. Odd that it should degrade so quickly before. Let's hope it is better this time. 1 Quote
