Lurch Posted March 20 Posted March 20 Hello All, After recording numerous tracks, on the WK-7600, for a song, I'm considering changing the key from "A" to "C". Is there a way to do this on the keyboard ? Quote
Lurch Posted March 21 Author Posted March 21 Hi Brad, Thanks for the info. I'm aware of the Transpose function, but I want the actual notes of all of the tracks to change, so for example, I can play the song using the actual keys for C, F, G, etc and save it in the key of "C". As opposed to still playing it with "A" chords, but having it sound like "C". Quote
Brad Saucier Posted March 22 Posted March 22 Changing the notes in the song would require editing all of the note events in the song, a tedious process. Another transpose option is to edit the song header data. It's possible to adjust coarse tune of each mixer part to transpose the song, rewriting the header data to save the change. Keep in mind you can also use the mixer to coarse tune upper 1, upper 2, and lower parts. If you use the main transpose function to adjust playback of the song sequencer, but want to upper 1 to remain unchanged, compensate for the difference using the mixer to coarse tune upper 1. I think this is probably the easiest way. Quote
