Casio CTK-5200 won't accept any of my SD cards

hello! as the title says, i have a CTK-5200 for almost 9 years now, and i recall using the sd card function as i remember one of my cards having the MUSICDAT folder. but right now, i'm trying to format my sd card with the keyboard to load some midis but it just doesn't want to. it displays "Err Protect", and the manual points to the sd card being write protected, but it isn't?

 

i tested with 3 standard sd card adapters and 2 micro sd cards (2GB, 8GB) but none of them worked. one is just SD and the other is SDHC, as the manual says that these are the only types of cards compatible. i tried factory resetting the keyboard, plugged my sd cards into my PC and confirmed that they were functional and healthy, and formatted as FAT32 but the keyboard still refuses to format it. is there anything that i'm missing? any help is welcome! (and yes, the write-protect switches on the adapters are unlocked)

The reader slot may need cleaning.  Try blowing it out with some air first.

oh, it actually... worked? lmao 
i tried blowing on it earlier but it would still display the error, but now that i blew it harder i just sat in disbelief when it started formatting 😭 thank you for the help lol!
