  1. Hmm, I just loaded the SteinwayB tone from the downloads area into my PX560 and it sounds no different than the already included GrProConcert pianos. Is it just a copy with only very minute tweaks? I don't hear any difference.
  2. Thanks BradMZ, I missed that fine print in the manual it seems. My old eyes are blind these days. 32GB Flash Drive it is then. They probably recommend 32GB or less to reduce boot up response times.
  3. Hello, searched the forum and manual for any mention of what USB flash drives are supported by the Casio PX-560 and couldn't find any specifications. My question is does it support USB 3.0 and what is the maximum drive size (i.e. 32GB, 64GB, 128GB, 256GB, etc.i) that it will support without issues? I[m about to order a USB flash drive for it and want to get the largest size it will support. I wish that Casio would specify this in their documentation so that folks won't have to guess.
  4. I got my new PX-560 and the first thing I noticed was the weird Grand Piano vibrato reverbery unnatural sound it was making out of the box. I searched through the settings feverishly trying to see if it was some effects setting causing that tremolo or vibrato effect and couldn't figure out how to get rid of it. I too was thinking that I might have got a defective unit until I searched and found this forum topic and your post. It was indeed the modulation wheel causing the unnatural vibrato effect. I felt so relieved that that is all it was. The piano is sounding excellent! Thank You!
  5. Hello, I just received my new Casio PX-560M BE keyboard and it came with firmware v1.12 installed. I know that there have been discussions early on with the expression/volume pedal input had complaints about it not controlling the sound volume smoothly in firmware v1.10 and the latest firmware v1.14 fixes that issue. However I am wondering what the description for the v1.12 firmware is for the PX-560. I read that some folks reported or feel that the new v1.14 firmware fixes the pedal response issue but it also changed some functions behavours or created other bugs. So I am wondering should I stay on v1.12 or go ahead and install the newer v1.14. The keyboard is working and sounds great so far. I have not tried connecting it via USB MIDI to my DAW software yet, so can't comment on if there are issues with the MIDI communications at this time. But still just wondering if v1.12 firmware is good to stay on for now. Anyone gone through this same decision and regret updating to v1.14? I read that you can't go back to earlier firmware version(s) after updating it to v1.14. Is that true? and if one chooses to want to go back to an earlier firmware version... are those firmware download files available somewhere to retrieve? Thanks for any suggestions.
  6. Okay, I understand now how they connect that 3 pedals board to the PX-560. I didn't buy this 3 pedal setup. I was just curious as to how they connected 3 pedals when I thought there were only 2 pedal input jacks on the back of the unit. I ordered a PX-560 bundled with portable X-stand and bench seat, not the nice wooden cabinet as I have no room for it in my spaces. I also am just a beginning keyboard player/learning. Not a pro. In the future I also am considering buying the 3 pedals board and modifying it to stay stable without mounting to the wooden cabinet. Thank You all for answering my question. I understand how it's connected now.
  7. Okay, thanks for the response. I take then that there is a 3rd pedal input connector underneath the keyboard which I haven't seen mentioned in all the many reviews and video demos of this PX-560.
  8. Hi all, can anybody tell me if there are any differences between the various model names that I see the Casio Privia PX-560 being advertised and sold at various places? In my searching the internet for this Digital Keyboard I see it being labled as PX-560, PX-560M. PX-560BE. Are there any real differences between each of these model types or do they just designate what region they are from like USA, Europe/Asia? I've ordered one this weekend listed as a model "PX-560M BE". I have no idea if that means anything different from a plain PX-560.
  9. Hello, I am soon to be a Prvivia PX-560 owner as I just ordered a bundle package. Speaking about connecting pedal controllers, I read that the PX-560 has only two 1/4" pedal input jacks. And I see some bundles selling it with the wooden stand and the rack with 3 pedals mounted to it. So my question is, if the PX-560 only has two pedal inputs, how is the 3rd pedal connected and used? Anyone notice this or have experience with the 3 pedals setup on the PX-560?
