  1. Mau, can you send me the V1.11 if you still have it. (Windows Version). I would like to give that a try before having to send it back. You could PM me and I will give the email address.
  2. Mau Van is your PX still working well? After a few days mine went back to being all messed up and unplayable! Not very happy! I called Casio and they said I have to send it in at MY expense. It worked perfectly until I did the v 1.12 update and now according to what I have read, you can't go back. Anyone have any suggestions or else will I have to bite the bullet and send it in for repair. I mostly use it as a controller for my Kronos 61 but now it won't even send the correct midi data to be used even for that. How long is the warranty on these things? mine is 13 months old... Shouldn't have these issues after only a year i would think. Thanks Marc
  3. I had similar issues with mine after the upgrade. So I backed up all my user files and then did a factory reset. See manual for instructions. All was well after doing it and it kept the V 1.12 firmware. Might help you,
  4. To Mau Van, I backed up my user files and did a factory reset, and all is well!!!!! It kept the V1,12 firmware as well... Give it a try.. good luck Marc
  5. After the upgrade my PX is a mess! Tremolo like effect on almost all tones, note cutting out and some controllers not working. When you play the lower F# and G# the mid and high EQ Assign shows in the LED Screen. I updated it three times with the same results. As of right now the thing is not playable. Any one else have this problem? I updated exactly as the video shows. Help Please Mike! Thanks Marc
  6. I turned the generator off and it worked fine. I guess the MIDI volume would be another option. I am physically playing the PX and playing sounds from the Kronos. Your suggestions worked perfectly. I set up a stage setting with the generator to off and and zone one to midi channel 11. Now when I want to play one sound from the kronos on the PX keyboard and another kronos sound on the Kronos itself I can. This has opened up so more sound possibilities with the 4 zones and layers on the PX and the Kronos and PX's amazing sounds. Now thanks to your and others help, I have a better handle on how flexable the PX is. Thanks again!
  7. Your the best Choppin thank you so much!!!!
  8. Yes! Choppin! That was it. MSB 112 LSB 36 and the elusive program Number 0-99 goes in a different screen on the Kronos. It goes where you would put an internal sound in the combi even though you have it set to ext2. Now that I finally got that working thanks to you and the other members, Is there a way to save a sound that makes no sound. Then I will save that sound and put it as part of a stage setting and use it when I just want to play sounds from the Kronos and then switch to a different stage setting with a sound attached to it when I want to lay sounds from the PX.
  9. I have tried everything I can think of but no luck. I have tried all the suggestions and I can't get it to work.
  10. spoke with the guys at the Korg forum and they think maybe I do not have the right MSB etc ettings or the PX is not set up to except them. Still lost! Could not find anything in the manuals..
  11. Awesome Scott and Choppin, I think I can find out where to make those setting on the Kronos, if not, you are correct Scott, the folks at the Korg forum will set me straight. Thanks for all your help.
  12. I will be using a Korg Kronos 61. I would like to use MIDI as I step through the programs and combi's in set list mode on the Kronos and would not want to have to step with two pedals. Thanks
  13. Thanks Scott, I read the file, but midi is not my forte. Any help walking me through this would be great. Thanks
  14. Is it possible to change the stage setting via MIDI from a master keyboard where the PX is the slave. Using the PX for it's wonderful keybed (IMO), portability and some sounds. Thanks
  15. Cool thanks Joe! Just ordered one!
