I am embarking on changing two broken keys on my px5s. Any advice or videos the good folk here can recommend. I have received the replacement keys from casio ( actually received a full octave ). Have done this before with korg and Yamaha keyboards but am a bit puzzled and nervous as to what way it works with casio. Thanking you

I am trying to use the compressor in my px5 to make a downloaded grand piano timbre sit nicely in a live band mix but still cut through when necessary. I was trying it tonight and some how the piano patch is now distorting and has lost all dynamics. Any advice regarding ratios, threshold etc?. I have found that the output of the keyboard runs quite "hot" and like to operate the volume control between 12 and 3 o clock ( if Ya get what i mean ). Thanks in advance.

I live in Ireland and am wondering where can I purchase a replacement G key for my px5s? The key is cracked parallel with where the F# and Ab key start and it's driving me crazy. I am used to changing keys on most keyboards and my warranty is well out of date so I just need to know where to get the key from. Cheers guys

Strange problem that only started yesterday at my gig. This is G3 on my px5s. The note has a visible line appeared on the surface and if the key is played below the line an audible squeak can be heard. The noise doesn't occur when the key is pressed above the line .... Any ideas what's going on ??

I have checked my local ebay, adverts done deal ( last two regional small ads websites) and not one px for sale. I guess when people buy this board, they keep it. It's a truly unbelievable piece of kit. I would NEVER sell mine.

Relevant topic for me too. I have/had the ev powered speaker and it knelt down on me. Been to two different techs and it's still out of commission. It started off with the buzzing on ep sounds and then suddenly I switched it on and nothing. Thought it was a faulty unit but reading this I realise there my be an underlying fault with the range. Disappointing.

What do ya need? Pad or synth? Ok just listening. I realise there is a lot going on there. Anyone??

Thank you choppin. I will check this when I get to my gig tomorrow night. So to be clear I need to change that midi field to midi in and run my 5 pin din from the io dock to the casios in and from the casios out ( which should now be a thru) to my m50. This should mean when I select the songs which I have the msb lsb programmed for both keyboards should change on both keyboards. I have verified individually that the correct values for each board work when connected directly to the io dock. Hopefully this daisy chain technique will work and allow me to forget about ever touching the stage settings button again. Cheers once more choppin. Cannot seem to get my head around this guys. I can access the midi out setting but when I change the setting the option doesn't seem to come up. It seems to change only to USB. Am I missing everything.

Title says it all. Can't seem to find the thread where this was addressed before. Can anyone give me a quick tip? I understand from the thread I cannot find that the midi out cannot be used as an out once it's changed but I don't need it as an out just a thru. Have a complicated setlist maker setup that I need to use the casios midi thru to relay bank changes for the casio and my korg m50. Cheers fellow forumites.
