no...I don't have MIDI OX...it was suggested to me...I downloaded it...installed it...and it didn't do what I was expecting...so I uninstalled it...unless I didn't do it right...but I can't download it again...because my internet provider only allows a certain amount of downloading and I am up to that already...so I can't do it again...sorry...if WMP works for one...must work for others...so I give up...while I am on here...I have an LK 230 keyboard for sale....C H E A P !!!!

if it plays from any program to my keyboard and the keys light so that I can learn to play the tune that I would like...then I am open to said program...but in reality...I would like WMP

Hello Brad.... I did a check as you suggested and Casio is listed in the device manager...says it is working properly...then I went to MuseScore and did what you suggested...and it still will not play my music from computer to keyboard...music will not play from WMP to keyboard

it says....SPEAKERS....my computer does recognize the keyboard...else my MuseScore wouldn't work...it does...I can input from the keyboard to the computer (MuseScore)...I can play what I input from the keyboard on the computer...I can download music from the internet and play it on MuseScore...but what I would like to do is play that music from the computer to the keyboard...

the usb cable came with the keyboard...and there was no software...and yes...I bought new...there were no discs...

hello all... what I am trying to do is...play my tunes (midi files) from my computer (Acer),running windows 7, 64bit....to my LK230 Lighted Keyboard, through Windows Media Player....the video which I included in my original post shows a guy that has the same keyboard, using Windows Media Player to his keyboard...which is what I am trying to do...I guess I am not doing something right...as usual...I'm not that computer savy...I really don't need another on screen midi player...I have 2 now...(which don't do what I would like)...1) Virtual Midi Piano Keyboard....2) Midi Sheet Music...

Hello tnicoson, what I am looking for is a way of making my music play from my computer to my casio lk230 lighted piano keyboard...I have downloaded some songs that are in the midi sequence format and I would like to learn to play them...you mentioned winamp which I have used in the past...not sure if that would do it or not...the fellow on the video that I included in my original posting used media player...so I figured it should work for me as well...but doesn't...

Hi Scott...I tried to do what you suggested but my casio keyboard is not in the list under "Speaker"...so I guess i'm S.O.L....i'm running windows 7...and the version of Windows Media Player is version 12...

hello all...i'm new to this forum...I have the Casio LK230 keyboard and I am trying to figure out how to get my music to play from windows media player to my keyboard.
