I just bought a CDP-230R electronic keyboard (there does not seem to be a separate forum for the CDP series). Despite following the instructions in the manual, I cannot seem to start and stop the "rhythm part only". If I hold down the rhythm button for a few seconds, I can get the rhythm and accompaniment (chords) to start when I play the left side of the keyboard, but then I can't turn it off without turning off the entire keyboard. I am able to start and stop the "rhythm only" if I set the pedal jack to "rhythm", but then I can't use the pedal to sustain notes. I spoke to someone at Casio tech support who told me that if I posted on the Casio forum site, someone named "Matt" would get back to me.
