  1. Hello Tuxfriend. Thank you for your upload. No problem to download it. All works very good.
  2. Hello, I cannot download the faqs. https://www.dropbox.com/s/vjw4grwmlz08mxp/PX-5S FAQ NOV14.pdf?dl=0 I always have the error message "There was an error downloading your file". It could be possible someone upload this file in this forum or in another place ? Thank you.
  3. I will do as you adviced, I will prepare all the midi files i need to practice a piece, different tempo with inscreasing the speed step by step, etc. And in other way I can also use a stereo male Jack 3.5 mm to plug a tablet or a computer to the audio line in of the piano. It is very kind from you to help other peoples. This morning I tried to record a wav music file on the USB drive. All worked very good, I was able to record and after listen my files. But if I power off the piano and remove my USB drive to listen my record on other devices, when I power on my piano I am unable to find and listen these files again. The piano only propose to do a new record. How I can do to listen these files again. (I did not change anythings as the name, the extension, the folders when I used my USB drive with other computer)
  4. In conclusion, what I understand, it is or it is not possible to change the tempo during a SMF playing ? If yes, how to do ?
  5. Once the Midi file begins playing, I can only press FF, REW, Pause and Stop, All the others buttons are blocked and non responding. So I am not able to use the button Tempo or select anothers instruments. I do not know why it is like that. With following the user's manual, I tried to start the demo song. During it plays I am able to change the tempo and the instruments.
  6. Hello Tnicoson, thank you for helped me. I understand what you said about the Midi files and the piano. Could you explain me, step by step, how I can change the tempo and the sound manually after the file begins playing ? (I did not find how to do in the user's manual) Now I know what you explained to me, the new tempo and the new sound will be played until the end of the music. When I will start this Midi file a second time, the piano will play it without the modifications I did. The instrument is not able to write a modification inside the Midi file.
  7. Hello, since a few days I read the different informations in this forum, and I really would like to learn to use the functions of my instrument. First question : I would like to play the instrument Fender Rhodes, the same as this video, https://youtu.be/mrlOIidJhls Could you explain to me, step by step, what setting I have to do on my piano ? Second question : I followed the user's manual and writed a Midi file exported from MuseScore to a USB drive. My piano reconize the Midi file and play it. How to do to change the tempo and the instrument sound of this Midi file ? (example, midi sound piano, tempo 60 to sound flute tempo 80) Thank you for your help and your time.
  8. Hello, BradMZ. Thank you for your message. But I am sorry, I am not able to clearly understand what you writted. My English is not very good. Could you please give me more details ? (what button to press, what action to do) I never used the setting functions.
  9. You solved my trouble. Thank you ! It was the modulation wheel in the middle and not down. Now my piano sound good when I power on it. I think I touched this wheel by accident when I cleaned the dust on my instrument with a soft fabric. I would really be happy if one day I could understand all the functions of my piano.
  10. - The modulation wheel is in the middle position. - The bender wheel is in the middle position too. - The knobs K1, K2, K3 and K4 are in the central position. - The buttons S1, S2, S3, S4, S5 and S6 are also in the middle position. I have two questions, it would be nice from you if you could anwser me. 1- Do you know the meaning of ! and * ? (for example !4-0 and *4-0) What is the difference between ! and * ? 2- What is the function of the button "Initialize" ? (long press down of the button bank, the blue led flashes three times) Before write here, I looked for informations in the user's manual but I did not find. Thank you for your help.
  11. Hello, I am a new user of the piano Casio PX5s Pro. My piano runs the original firmware 1.13, loaded in the factory. I never changed it by myself. I never plugged an USB drive. I never plugged my piano to a computer or other instrument with USB or MIDI. I reset all the factory setting in the menu. I explain my trouble : 1- I press the power On button, 2- The instrument is loading for a few seconds, 3- The screen displays "*4-0 Grand Piano Classic" When I play the sound is very bad, horrible, disformed and satured. I must press and hold the button "Initialize" during two seconds, the blue led flashes severals times. The screen now displays !4-0 instead of *4-0. After I can play a beautifull classic grand piano. I like it very much. I found this tip by accident. Each time I power on my piano, I must press this button. It is the same for the *0-0 Concert Grand Piano. What setting I need to do for power on my instrument and play it directly without need to press the "initialize" button. I only play the classic pieces so I only need the !4-0 classical grand piano. Thank you for your help.
