  1. Hi! I have a new CTX3000 about 3 weeks old, and I'm loving it. I immediately updated to 1.0.8. I've been exploring every functionality and I have found these issue: 1. U2, L1, L2 layers don't Pan as much as U1. I setup split mode to default piano tone, I set the split point to the actual middle key (F#4), I set the pan of L1 to the left speaker, U1 to the right. It seemed to work fine on speakers, but when I put on headphones, I noticed L1 is not panned as much as U1 even if it's set to 64 (it sounds like it is panned to more or less 30), U1 set to -63. And then I tried layers U2 and L2, and it works the same as L1, not panning fully. I then tried to pan Pad1 and Pad2, and it works just like U1, it fully pans to left and right. Is there a setting somewhere that causes this? Is this supposed to work like this? Did you found this problem too? If not please try it and analyze. Edit: resolved thanks to Brad Saucier 2. Distorted string resonance on Middle C, and some neighbouring notes. I also noticed this when I started using headphones. It is present on all acoustic piano tones. I checked if it's just my headphones, tried to use others and it's still there. I tried to hear it on speakers and found out it is also there. The problem now is I can't unhear it every time I play middle C. Is this the same in yours too? Is it a recording error (I'm loving the fact that the notes have different resonance across the keyboard though)? Or maybe my tones data got corrupted during power loss? Should I just re-update my keyboard? I will appreciate all the answers, thank you very much!
  2. I'm enjoying the rich configurability of the Casio PX-560, but there is one parameter that I cannot seem to find how to control. I would like to reduce the stereo width of the grand piano sound when using headphones. Currently the lowest keys are too strongly panned to the left, for my taste, and the highest keys too strongly panned to the right. I'm looking for a control to bring all keys more towards the center of the sound. Is there such a setting somewhere, or is the stereo width embedded into the piano samples themselves? I hooked up the line out to a multichannel mixer, connecting my headphones to its monitor output, and reduced the stereo width by panning the left channel less than fully left and the right channel less than fully right, but then the whole sound becomes less wide even for the central keys. Any other suggestions are welcome.
  3. Using the Casio CGP-700 keyboard's onboard mixer, I can't completely isolate parts 1 and 2 by panning fully left and right, respectively. My main reason for buying this model was to be able to send discrete piano to one channel on my amp and then send discrete organ (likely through a volume pedal and Leslie foot pedal - not configured for that yet) to another channel on my amp. What I'm experiencing is the Part 2 Organ is bleeding unacceptably into the Part 1 Piano. I've confirmed similar results using other instruments/voices than piano/organ. The Part 1 Piano does NOT seem to be bleeding into the Part 2 Organ, although that's a bit hard to tell. I don't want to be playing a piano-only piece with an organ bed beneath it. I've had my old Yamaha S80, with it's four discrete outs configured this way for years. I was told prior to purchase that you can send discrete outs to the two channels. Any suggestions? Also, the rotating controller works pretty well in clockwise mode, but is hanging up badly in counterclockwise mode.
