Martyn_47
Hi there Trying to get Drum sounds going on my Casio CTK-6200, but I can#t seem to locate any. Clicking on the GM/Drums button brings up 'GM Applause' and i cycle through and can only find synth Drums. Played this in the store before buying, so know there are traditional drum sounds somewhere, can anyone point me in the direction of them? Many thanks
- T -
Press the GM/DRUMS button, just as you have been doing. On the display panel, make sure the heavy brackets are around the word [[ TONE ]] and that the light brackets are around the word [ RHYTHM ]. If they are not, press the UP ARROW ( ^ ) button to move the heavy brackets up to the word [[ TONE ]] to select it. Now, start rotating the Data Wheel clockwise. You will find the drum kits starting at TONE Number 129 with "Standard Set 1", and running through "Ethnic Set 2" at TONE Number 145.
mamihil
You need to check if the code you have is telling your keyboard to change to the drum sounds. Sometimes this is as simple as making sure that the MIDI channel is set to number 10. Go to Casio CTK-6200 Manual and check out how to fix this issue effectively.
