Null
As per YungGoat's thread about Synthjazz Sunday, which Sunday of the month should we hold it on or do you think it's a bad idea for whatever reason? http://www.casiomusicforums.com/index.php?/topic/5636-synthjazz-sunday-anyone/ One vote per customer please. And don't be shy, we're a very supportive group around here.

XW-Addict
Makes my hands all sweaty thinking about this but please explain again what the rules of engagement are how to do this.
Null
Rules are made to be broken but the way I envision it I guess we all just make our best efforts to come up with one good jazz piece and post it on soundcloud or in the "Synthjazz Thread" for that month in MP3 format. As I explained in your other posting Soundcloud would be preferable since it would not chew up the forum's bandwidth. (Bytes cost money ) Other than that, if you come up with any special user programs or sequences which you'd think others might appreciate it would be the neighbourly thing to upload them to the usual forum archives so others could enjoy using them as well. Other than that, no kickin', no gougin', no spittin' and no hair pullin'! Anything else goes and by that I think we can all agree to keep our standards pretty light on what constitutes "jazz." While most would not consider industrial dubstep to be "jazz" if it has a "jazzy feel" it should be fair game for the contest. The winner shall be determined each month by a jury of our beers and shall earn the disrespect and revulsion and shall be shunned by the envious trogs for the duration until the next entries are posted :D Oh yeah, and I want to win a Mercedes too :D Gary
Null
So far this poll only has 4 votes. It won't be much of a contest with only 4 players. I'm giving it a bump. If Scott could make it a sticky for a few weeks that might help promote more interest. Here's a link to the original thread... http://www.casiomusicforums.com/index.php?/topic/5636-synthjazz-sunday-anyone/ Come on people vote!!!! Even if it's just to say it's a stupid idea. Gary 4 is just fine for a start, just like playing on the ol' N64. I think we're ready to go to our first "SJS". And you used the "C" word(contest)! I label it as an event. I just think it's a great way for people to express their unique style of jazz. I say, I say, let's get this party started.
Null
OK OK OK, it's not a "C******!" Forgive me. I engaged fingers before putting brain in gear. Anyway, I pulled an allnighter, I hate deadlines so I finished my entry for next month tonight. Without further ado I give you "Grey Suit March" https://soundcloud.com/happyrat1/grey-suit-march Enjoy Gary

I checked out your newest track. I'm digging it man. In all honesty, I could hear this track in an RPG- Maybe for a new Golden Sun revamped for the Wii-U. It brings back memories of "The Lost Age" on GameBoy Advance I used to spend hours on as a kid. It gives off good feelings.
Null
I'm just listening to it now on the laptop upstairs. Man does it sound crappy on 2 inch speakers. I may have to do a secondary remix just for laptop users. The drums and rhythm don't carry at all on these tinny pieces of crap. It sounds great on my studio monitors and on my Kenwood 2.1 system I have hooked up to the desktop, but boy did I ever drop the ball for the low end of the spectrum. Apologies. I'm gonna remix it and upload a lo fi version right now,. Gary EDIT >>> Here's the LoFi URL. https://soundcloud.com/happyrat1/grey-suit-march-lofi
