rtl
Hi to all, I am using CASIO keyboards since I was a child. My first one was a PT20, a gift from my father.Later a I had a CasioTone Mt-68, CasioTone Mt-240, and now I have a 1999' CTK-731. I think that build quality of every CASIO keyboard is very good. My daughter is playing with my PT20 more than 30 years later... People consider that CASIO keyboards are "toy" ones. I think that it is *not* true. The price/quality ratio is stunning. My CTK 731 has a very good sound quality and it is plenty of features for that time and price. I am thinking to buy a new keyboard and I think in CTK7200 model. Again, quaility/price/features ratio is unbeatable... but I read about "the gagging problem when changing the registration". I dont have any problem with the CTK731 and registration How important is this bug? It is possible to change registration with harmonize or layering sound without lags? Registration for me is a must when playing live. If I can't use it properly I will not buy the keyboard. Can you give me more details about this bug and its importance? Best Regards to all and thanks in advance,Juan.
Silvano Silva
RTL Hello, I who I reported this bug because I use the keyboard live. The sounds you store in memory registration in exchange timbres noted this is choking.I have not had time to get around this problem and I could note that the exchange of timbres factory panel in this problem does not happen.Unfortunately it is my custom to use memory record for the tones with layers UP1 and UP2 together. Not yet appeared in this forum with no advanced knowledge of this line of keyboards a solution to this problem. And for me lag is only audible on a keyboard when one extrapolates the polyphony and is not what happened with WK7600 I have. rtl
So, that you are telling to me is:If you use factory presets when changing registration the problem does NOT occur? Thank you, Silvano, I need more info about this bug. Best Regards,
Silvano Silva
The problem is in the change registration memory. If you like to save on memory registration and make changes of timbres you have problems in this gagging. When I could see the problem disappears when you switch sounds in the right pane with the families of piano / E.Piano / strings ... only sounds simple and you do not have to save the registration memory for possible exchanges.
