Choppin Posted December 3, 2015 Share Posted December 3, 2015 I'm not 100% sure what your goals are. Do you want to play on the PX and control the Kurz or the other way around? Some Basics on the PX* The 4 zones receive on channels 1,2,3 and 4 respectively. These channels cannot be changed.* You can turn off which zones transmit* The 4 zones can be set to TRANSMIT ON ANY channel* If you send a program change from another midi device to the px-5s it defaults to Bank 0 GM sounds and the midi channel the program change was sent on. This is important to note because a stage setting might be made up of custom sounds or hex layers, or tones that aren't the same as the GM bank 0. In order to choose a stage setting on the PX from and external keyboard, you must be able to transmit BANK 112 and the program Change number equal to the stage setting number (Bank change MSB=112 LSB=0 PC=00 through 99) Check out this thread.
