Thanks for that indepth explanation, tnicoson. I'm embarrassed to say that my 10 years of music lessons has miserably failed me in this instance.

I find that sometimes the accompaniment interprets keys as the incorrect chords, e.g. G-B-Eflat plays as Gaug instead of Eflatdim.
I have tried changing the Chords betwee F1, F2, F3 but that doesn't help. I don't play using CC or FRC. Any idea how to 'fix' this, other than releaning the fingering?

Hi Griffin,
I'd say there is definitely something wrong with your piano. I have the same model and my contract settings do change the LCD display: 1= very light text, 17 = the 'background' images are so dark they they look permanently lit and barely change when I play.
