I noticed you mention to hold the registration store button while pressing the midi play/rec button.Do i press the ( Midi Play & Rec Mode Button )next to it while holding (Reg.Store )button?

Great.Thanks.That makes a lot of sense now.I was trying to do everything on the Midi Recorder page's.I did realize i had to record some type of data on each track to be able to Monitor the sound but loose Track name & assigned sound when clearing track.

Looking for an easy solution to setup a Song Template with each channel labeled and set with an instrument.Example..Ch1=Piano....Ch2=Bass...Ch3=Strings and have a default Instrument assigned to it.etc that i can use everytime before starting a new Song?.The problem is that the Channel.does not hold the Instrument on a Channel unless you have recorded data on it.Does not seem stable.I am use to the old school way of setting up Sequencer Song Templates.

I do understand how to Sample and Load to each Bank.What's the purpose of the 3 Banks?Can i use Samples from different Banks in a song?

Thanks.I just imported the sample to a drum Kit and used the Compressor.

Thanks.I was able to use the Compessor for the edit Drum Kit to add punch to the Sample also

Great.Can i create the User Kit inside the Casio or do i need the Sample Manager?

Is it possible to Sequence Samples using the ( Pattern Sequencer )?

This is sampled and not imported.I was just seeing if it was an easier way to bring up levels after Sampling.The Volume level was not enough.

Is there a way to boost a Pad Sample track used in a Midi recording when the Pad volume is maxed?Maybe an insert Compressor or effect ,not sure.

Anyway to boost the volume of a Pad Sample a little more when the Pad volume is maxed out?Maybe some way to assign Compressor?

I have owned many Pro keyboards over the years and the Casio MZ compete's with anything on the market once you understand the many possibilities this Keyboard has to offer in this price range.The ability to load in sample wav's and use the built in DSP etc.is a huge plus for me.

It would be great if Casio updates the MZ to add ( Auto Quantize in the Midi Recorder and Undo/Redo option).

Ok.So i guess we have to manually Quantize in the Midi recorder everytime?Thanks

How do you set the real-time Quantize in the MZ to automatic Quantize in the Midi Recorder?

Thanks again.It worked. Really starting to learn a lot about MZ.I was so use to the old hardware sequencers and now getting use to the arranger.

Is it possible in the Midi Recorder to start Recording from the last measure.Example,if i already have 4 measures Recorded and want to start Recording on the start of measure 5 even though i stopped at the end of 4.Do i have to first insert blank measures or can i continue?

Great Pattern Recorder.Just wish i was able to use it like a traditional pattern Recorder without having to use the Accomp.button or press a chord to playback tracks.

Using the MIDI Recorder can i record 2 measures and Copy/Paste to measure 3 to make it 4 measure's?Not sure the best way to linear build the song?
