I have managed to emulate and create to interesting sound by mixing to tones together and some serious use of the mixer
but as has been said earlier upload a sound of the tone you require so everyone can hear it and who know what anyone
may come up with,

I think every keyboard is a compromise between what you want and what you can afford,
the key I think is as you have the board is to try and work around its short comings

Hi,
2 upper and 1 on the lower,

The 7200 is like any other keyboard you will only get out of it what you put into it,
By layering and altering the tones you can create some great unique sounds.
Enjoy your new keyboard.

They are what are used when you create a rhythm/style for your keyboard, they identity the different sections of the style/
Rhythm, i.e intro/ main/ ending so your keyboard can tell the difference between each section.
Do a search in your help section of the software your using and it will tell you in there how to insert them.
It varies on the software used. I found a few informative post over on the korg forums

For me personally,
I would like to sed a dedicated software editor supplied or made available for download
And a up to date program for converting midi files into rhythm/ styles for the ctk7000 boards
-
Hi take a look at this facebook page there is a download link for some software there that may help you
-
Hi,
Yes you should be able to do that. Select the mixer and from the you have control of all the volumes .

Yes,
And iam starting to make some progress be it in a small way.
Started with a yamaha .sty file, which if you change the .sty to .mid , then loaded into anvil studio and saved it from there as a midi file
You end up with a midi file with all the markers in it. Pass it through the midi to cfk converter and load it into my ctk7200 and it plays great. Still more to experiment with but its a start.

Hi all
Anyone know what the correct names for are for the marker you put into a midi file before converting it to a rhythm ?.
They are some thing like, intro, main, mainfill ending
So anyone know the correct names please ?
Thanks

I am nearly sure you need to tell the keyboard to save it as smf file. Have a good look in the hand book under saving a song.

Hi all Casio users,
a specially those of use that use the CTK7200 and CTK7500
I have started a page specifically aimed at those two keyboards.
it can be found here https://www.facebook.com/groups/518628384892195/
Not much there as yet in fact no members , so if anyone's interested please pop along
this is not intended to take members away from here but to be used as another source
of info ( hopefully )

I would not say that its limited to a one sound keyboard, it use splits a lot save. as presets so its easy to change between
Sounds, volume can be controlled with an active foot volume control. I use the board live and have never found any limitations with it, yes it can present challenges but there is always away aroud most of them.

Hi,
There are a few videos on youtube that I have found but you may be better of searching for what you want to find out about
i.e creating presets or how to create new user tones. etc.....
Search for wat you want and add casio keyboards on the end. You may find its there but for a diiferent model of casio keyboard.

Hi,
I tend to set up my splits as a preset and adjust the volume for the left hand and fight hand side and save it when
I save the preset. But as you said i dont think is possible on the fly may be at best a foot volume control ?
Brian
-
Hi,
Yes i know what you mean about a long way back after using splits and shifting the octave ?
To be honest I think you hit the nail on the head when you said save your basic keyboard
Configuration as a preset and just select it when your finished with the splits etc.
